The Institute of Data Processing Management (IDPM) of Nigeria stands for “Effective Data Processing and System Management”. It is a professional body that is recognized under the Companies and Allied Matter Decree 1 of 1990. IDPM of Nigeria is the Nigeria Counterpart of IDPM of London , now known as the Institute of Management Information System (IMIS) . Consequently, membership with IDPM of Nigeria makes one a member of IDPM of London.

IDPM EXAMINATION STRUCTURE
The Institute conducts Exam in July and December every year in the following levels:
- Foundation Certificate in Data Processing Management
- Professional Diploma in Data Processing Management
- Graduate Diploma in Data Processing Management
- Professional Diploma in Computer Data Engineering
